Government contracts, without the government headache.

Watchline wins state and local contracts as the prime contractor, then delivers through a vetted directory of local subcontractors. You do the work. We handle the bidding, the compliance, and the town hall.

The model

How it works

One application. Then we go to work.

Apply to the directory

Tell us your trade, your crew, and the towns you serve. Josh and Chris review every application personally.

We bid and win as prime

We find state and local contracts that fit your trade, write the bids, and sign as the prime contractor. The paperwork is ours.

You deliver, we manage

Your crew does the work it already does every day. We run the project, invoice the government, and get everyone paid.

Why join

Built for the firm that does the work

Government buyers spend real money on the services you already provide. The process is the only thing standing between you and that revenue.

No retainer. No membership fee.

We earn a percentage of the contracts we win for you. If we don't win you work, we don't get paid. We only make money when you do.

We speak government.

Bids, bonding, certificates of insurance, prevailing wage, purchase orders, municipal invoicing. The paperwork wall that keeps good firms out of public work is our whole job.

Real revenue, close to home.

State and local contracts under $250K, in towns you already drive through. Steady public work without chasing federal mega-bids.

One accountable prime.

The town holds us accountable, not you. You never write a bid, sit in a procurement meeting, or chase a municipality for payment.

Founders

Who's behind Watchline

Two operators who have run government work from the private side.

Joshua Rosenthal

Co-Founder

Captain in the U.S. Army National Guard and a service-disabled veteran. Josh owns the municipal relationships and the state and local playbook, and knows first-hand where small contracts get stuck.

Chris Smith

Co-Founder

Revenue and operations operator: Apple, WeWork, CloudKitchens. Scaled a WeWork business from $20M to $120M in annual revenue and launched nine CloudKitchens markets in eight months. Chris builds the machine that finds, wins, and manages the work.
