Why Watchline exists.
Local firms do the work. Government process keeps them from holding the contract.
In every Massachusetts town, small service firms keep the place running: fields mowed, buildings maintained, pipes fixed, sites cleared. The contracts for that work rarely go to them.
They can do the work. The process to win it is its own full-time job: finding the postings, writing the bids, meeting insurance and bonding requirements, surviving the municipal payment cycle. A five-person firm can't staff that, so public work defaults to the same large primes year after year.
Watchline removes that friction. We win state and local contracts as the prime contractor and deliver them through a vetted directory of local subcontractors. The government gets one accountable, veteran-owned firm. The local firm gets public revenue without the public paperwork. The work gets done by the people best suited to do it.
The veteran-owned part
Josh served as a Captain in the U.S. Army National Guard and is a service-disabled veteran. That service qualifies Watchline to pursue veteran-owned preferences in public procurement, and it shapes how we operate: planning, accountability, and follow-through.

Chris Smith
Co-Founder
Revenue and operations operator: Apple, WeWork, CloudKitchens. Scaled a WeWork business from $20M to $120M in annual revenue and launched nine CloudKitchens markets in eight months. Chris builds the machine that finds, wins, and manages the work.
